Penn Law Practices: Nuts & Bolts Series

March 07, 2014

This three-session, experiential-programming series focuses on providing students with realistic lessons into the legal practice of junior attorneys in one of three different practice areas:

  • Litigation–Discovery : Tuesday, March 18th at Noon (RSVP by Tuesday, March 11th)
  • Corporate : Tuesday, March 25th at Noon (RSVP by Tuesday, March 18th)
  • Criminal Practice : Tuesday, April 1st at Noon (RSVP by Tuesday, March 25th)

During each 75 minute session, students will work with the practitioners on problems taken from actual legal matters and receive feedback on their performance–thus preparing them to serve clients on Day 1.

All students are invited and encouraged to attend. 1Ls can earn one hour toward the research hour component of the Legal Practice Skills Course

To participate, students MUST RSVP by one week prior to the chosen session. Students are welcome to attend one, two or all three sessions.  Rooms are TBD and participants will be notified by email where each session will take place. Lunch will be provided!
