The reason I ask is because at last week's blog roundtable, somebody brought up the topic of the "microblogging
" tool, which is considered the Next Big Thing in Web 2.0 technology.
Then, when Ed Greenlee
and I attended a talk at Van Pelt library a few days ago on user-generated content, Twitter
came up in the discussion again. It's generating quite the buzz
in the library community.
And just this morning, I watched a video on the Chronicle of Higher Education website that demonstrated how one professor is integrating Twitter use into one of his classes:
This is definitely a tool whose development is worth monitoring.
