#205 Save Energy by Turning Off Projectors in Classrooms

November 21, 2013

Help Penn Law save electricity and the lamp life of projectors by powering them down if they are not being used.

The projector lamps contain mercury, so reducing the amount of time these projectors stay on unnecessarily will reduce the amount of times the lamp needs to be changed and therefore reduce the amount of mercury needed.

Please turn off the projectors by using the classroom equipment control panel (located near the classroom PC).  For instructions on how to activate and deactivate classroom equipment, please see these classroom technology video walkthroughs.

If you have any questions or have trouble deactivating the equipment, please call ITS Media at 215-898-9570 or email
