“Food for Thought”: New Student Video

October 11, 2013

Screened at the 2013 Rough Cut Video, “Food for Thought: The Social Cost of Eating Out” is now available along with other student videos.

This video explores two important aspects of restaurant employment: wage theft and the absence of paid sick leave.  It explains why workers, diners and restaurant owners … indeed all lovers of our food culture …  should unite to make the experience of eating out at restaurants a fairer and safer one for all involved.  The video was produced and directed by Penn Law students Joseph Horne, Ed Olayemi, Ourania Todoulou, and Calvin Wang and narrated by Penn Law student Peter Morcos.
