Network Blip on June 13

June 05, 2013

There will be a short network blip at 5 PM on Thursday June 13 to enable a new loop detection protocol called Spanning Tree.  Once enabled, Spanning Tree will prevent creating a loop which takes down the whole network.

After the blip, there will be a small warmup period of up to 45 seconds when you connect a network cable to a device.

Please email itshelp@law.upenn.edu if you have any questions or concerns regarding the network blip.
