#176 Using Hot Corners on a Mac

You can use Hot Corners in Mac OS X to quickly activate features such as the screensaver, clearing open windows, and putting the display to sleep.  Here is how to activate Hot Corners:

 

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the menu bar and select “System Preferences”
  2. Click “Desktop & Screen Saver” and then click the “Screen Saver” tab.
  3. Click on the button labeled “Hot Corners” in the bottom left.

 

From this screen, you can select functions for your computer to activate when the cursor is moved into one of the screen’s four corners.
