On Monday, May 13, Penn Law hosted its graduation ceremony at the Academy of Music. The Class of 2013 Commencement Address was delivered by Christopher J. Dodd, the longtime Democratic Senator from Connecticut and Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America.
Dodd encouraged the graduating class in his remarks to become educators in their communities and face the world’s problems head-on. “The ultimate form of happiness is to make yourself useful to others,” Dodd said.
Other speakers from the event included Dean Michael A. Fitts, Harvey Levin Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence recipient Professor Gideon Parchomovsky, and class speakers Judes Abboud LLM’13 and Madeline Gitomer L’13.
