#167 Speed Up Web Browsing

May 02, 2013

You can use these shortcuts to speed up your web browsing.

Here are some shortcuts that you can use to save time while web browsing:

  • Skip http://

You don’t need to include “http://” or “www.” when entering a website address.  You can just enter “google.com” and press Enter.

  • Jump to the address bar

You can quickly move the cursor to the address bar by pressing CTRL+L on a PC or Command+L on a Mac.

  • Toggle full-screen

You can toggle full-screen mode on a PC by pressing F11 and on a Mac by pressing Control+Command+F.

You can use these shortcuts in conjunction with shortcuts mentioned in previous tips for zooming in and out of a web page or switching between tabs.
