#152 Adobe Acrobat Fast Find

February 20, 2013

Want to search PDF files quickly? Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat’s “Fast Find” feature enabled. Fast Find generates a cache of information from any PDF that you search. This cache reduces subsequent search times for that PDF.

  1. In Acrobat Pro, click on the Edit menu, then click on Preferences.
  2. In the Categories menu, click on Search.
  3. Click on the Enable Fast Find checkbox if this option is disabled, then click OK to save your preferences.
