#30 Calendaring Part III: Subscribe to a Penn Law Calendar in Outlook

February 28, 2011

In our increasingly connected world, it can be hard to keep track of everywhere important events are listed. With the EMS calendaring and reservation upgrade this past fall, you can now add any public Penn Law calendar directly to Outlook or select mobile devices. Learn how to create and subscribe to your own custom calendar feed of Penn Law events. You can choose from Faculty Events, the Academic Calendar, Confrences & Lectures, and more.

Creating your own calendar feed is easy!

  1. Vist the EMS Calendar Feed Subscription page.
  2. Select as many calendars as you’d like using the gold arrows.
  3. Select iCalendar feed and click Subscribe.

Outlook will automatically open and you can click Yes to add the feed.

Tip: Rename your iCalendar Feed by right-clicking on it in the Navigation Pane and choosing Rename.

As the number of calendars you have listed in Outlook grows, you’ll need to learn how to better manage them. Check back in for our next tip where we’ll teach you how to show, hide, and overlay your calendars.
