In the digital age, information overload is a challenge. We collect, create, and publish more information than ever before and keeping track of it all can be hard. Fortunately, you can use SharePoint’s fast and accurate search to locate what you need, when you need it.
Start by using the search bar available on any SharePoint site like the Goat. SharePoint will automatically search on all sites that you have access to. Use the following tools on your search results page to go even deeper:
- Click the Search In box directly under your search terms to focus on a specific site.
- Click on any item on the right-hand filters to focus on a specific file type, author, or site.
- Click on the X next to any of the right-hand filters to remove a specific attribute from your search.
