Working on a document with the rest of your department? Tired of losing track of which version of a file is the most recent? Emailing a document back and forth within a group of people working on a document can get very cumbersome and lead to confusion. Move your files to SharePoint and send them as links to send files securely, simplify sharing and free your mailbox from large and cumbersome files!
- Click the checkbox next to the file you want to send.
- Click E-mail a Link on the Documents tab.
Alternative Method: You can right-click the link to a document and choose Copy Link Location then paste it directly in your email.
