#60 Clear Frustrating Formatting in Word with a Single Click

Is your document’s formatting all messed up? Have you tried copying in text from another location and are having trouble making it look right? Stop fighting with formatting and use Clear Formatting to start with a clean slate.

You can clear formatting by using the Ribbon or with a keybaord shortcut. First select the text you would like to clear formatting on then:

Ribbon

On the Home tab, in the Font group, click the Clear Formatting button.

Keyboard Shortcut

Press Ctrl + Space.
