October 11, 2011

Do you ever want to spruce up your desktop? Do you feel like all that empty space is a waste? Windows 7 introduced a new feature called Desktop Gadgets. These gadgets show up on your desktop and provide helpful information with an easy to read calendar, up-to-date weather, or headlines from your favorite RSS feed.

You can add a gadget in 3 easy steps.

  1. Right click in a blank area on your Desktop.
  2. Select Gadgets.
  3. Double click one of the preinstalled gadgets and it will appear on your desktop.

These gadgets can be dragged to any part of your screen by just clicking and dragging them to wherever you prefer. For more information, visit the links below.
