#92 Use Normal Language when Setting Dates in Outlook

December 11, 2011

Have you ever wanted to schedule an appointment for a date like “Next Tuesday?” Instead of pulling out a calendar to find the exact date, try using normal language when creating new calendar appointments.

Just create a new appointment and try typing a phrase in the date fields. Outlook can even recognize major holidays, here are a few suggestions.

  • Tomorrow
  • 2 days (Adds 2 days to the current date. Try it with weeks and months too!)
  • Next Thursday
  • 2 days before Christmas
