#93 Use Explorer Mode to make SharePoint work like the G and U Network Drives

December 13, 2011

While SharePoint’s web based interface makes your files easily accessible from anywhere, sometimes you need to quickly copy or move around files. Explorer View allows you to work with SharePoint using the same, familiar interface you use for your U: or G: drives.

To try it out, open a SharePoint document library that you have access to and perform the following steps.

  1. Click on your current view (default: All Documents).
  2. Click Explorer View.

Note: Explorer View is only available when using Internet Explorer.
