
While Outlook invitations are a great way to send out your meeting requests at the office, sometimes you may find yourself sending invitations to people who use other email services like Gmail. Try sending an .ics file the next time you have to send an invitation to external audiences.
While Outlook invitations are a great way to send out your meeting requests at the office, sometimes you may find yourself sending invitations to people who use other email services like Gmail. Try sending an .ics file the next time you have to send an invitation to external audiences.
- Create and save an appointment in Outlook.
- Double-click on the appointment to open it.
- Click the down arrow next to Forward and choose Forward as iCalendar.
- Compose and send your message normally. You can remove the FW: for your subject line.
