Meet Ashlee and Breanna

March 25, 2022

Meet two new additions to the Biddle staff: Ashlee Anstead and Breanna Himschoot.

Ashlee Anstead, Access Services Assistant

Ashlee works during afternoon/evening hours, where she is responsible for stacks maintenance and shelving, responding to faculty and student inquires, and other various circulation and collections projects.

She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2021 with a B.A. in Archaeology, where she worked as a library technician & circulation assistant.

She has always been passionate about libraries and has worked with the National Anthropological Archives and volunteered with her hometown’s public library in Los Angeles.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her favorite of her landlady’s 6 cats and cooking at home. She also enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons with her friends over Zoom and exploring local antique & thrift stores.

Breanna Himschoot, Metadata Clerk

Breanna received her B.A. and M.A. from University of Pennsylvania, and her MLIS from the University of Iowa. Before joining Biddle, she worked for the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Book School, and the Walt Whitman Archive.

She is now helping Biddle with cleaning up metadata and ensuring that the collections are as accurate and accessible as possible.

Outside of work, she can usually be found re-watching Marvel movies, practicing book arts, playing violin, and trying desperately to master gluten-free baking.
