Deadline for Application for Financial Support for Students to Attend the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting

The Women in Business Law Initiative of the Institute for Law and Economics (ILE) will provide financial support to a limited number of interested students to attend the spring meeting of the ABA Business Law Section, to be held in Atlanta on Thursday-Saturday, March 31-April 2, 2022. Registration and all CLE and committee meeting programming are free for law students. ILE will reimburse up to $750 in documented costs for transportation, accommodations, and meals (excluding alcohol) for travel to the Business Law Section Spring Meeting. The Business Law Section meeting is described as an opportunity to “[j]oin business law professionals from around the world for three days of learning, connecting, and collaborating. Attend the meeting to: View high-quality CLE programs developed by business law experts with interactive Q&A opportunities Connect with a community of business law thought leaders at committee and subcommittee meetings that provide substantive discussions covering emerging business law trends or discussions about the work of the group, some of which feature exciting guest speakers Meet and network with other business law professionals from around the world Access all meeting content, during and after the meeting has ended, including on-demand CLE and program materials.” Applications for financial support should be emailed to njannett@law.upenn.edu by the close of business on Monday, February 7, 2022, accompanied by a resume and a brief statement (250 words maximum) of reasons for interest in attending.
