Journal of Business Law

The University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law is an expansion of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business and Employment Law, which has published cutting-edge business and employment scholarship for more than two decades.

Founded in 1997, the Journal of Business Law (JBL) publishes articles and comments on a broad range of business law topics, including corporate governance, securities regulation, capital market regulation, employment law, and the law of mergers and acquisitions.

The Journal of Business Law is currently accepting submissions for Volume 26 (2023-2024). Authors may submit their manuscripts for review through Scholastica.

Symposium

The Journal of Business Law and the Journal of International Law jointly hosted their annual symposium, “Digital Assets and Cryptocurrency,” on February 17, 2023. Topics included FTX and other crypto exchange bankruptcies, crypto regulation and the SEC’s crypto division, cross-border VC transactions, and central bank digital asset projects.
