Connecting Laptops to AirPennNet

Windows 

  1. Select the network called AirPennNet Guest and click Connect.
  2. Open a browser and click on the Connect Using My PennKey button and links.

  3. You will be re-directed to the SecureW2 JoinNow page (if you are not automatically redirected, please use this link).

  4. Click the JoinNow button
  5. An app will be downloaded. Click “Run” when the pop-up asking if you want to run it appears.
  6. Enter your PennKey and PennKey Password and click Next.
  7. After your credentials have been authenticated you will be automatically set to AirPennNet.
  8. Once you are connected, you will receive the message “Joined”. Click Done.
    Note: You can delete the downloaded installer, but please do not delete the SecureW2 program itself from your windows programs list, or it will remove your AirPennNet network access.

 

Mac

  1. Select the network called AirPennNet Guest and click Connect.
  2. Open a browser and click on the Connect Using My PennKey button and links.

  3. You will be re-directed to the SecureW2 JoinNow page (if you are not automatically redirected, please use this link).

  4. Verify your version of MacOS and click on the JoinNow button to download the SecureW2 app.
  5. Run the SecureW2 application after it has downloaded then enter your PennKey and Password. Click Continue.
  6. Enter your Computer Admin Account & Password.
  7. When you are finished, you will be automatically connected to AirPennNet and prompted with the message “Joined.”

Note: On some newer OS, you might be asked to complete a downloaded profile. Please go to your System Preferences > Profiles and finish installing the wifi profile there.
