ITS Online

Welcome Staff

The Law School Information Technology Services (ITS) department welcomes you to Penn Law. We have a broad range of computing, media, and network resources available. This page is intended to provide you with the technical information to get started.

Your Accounts at Penn Law: LawKey & PennKey

LawKey and PennKey are the computing logins used at the Law School. LawKey is used to access the classroom computers and the law directory. PennKey is used to access the wireless network, password protected sections of the law school website and the CMS, and library databases (among other University resources). Both usernames are the same, but they need to be activated separately and we recommend you pick different passwords for each.

You should have received an activation link and activation code from ITS. Once your computing logins have been created and activated, you may access the following resources.

For additional security, ITS highly recommends that all staff members set up two-step verification for PennKey accounts. Go here for more information and instructions on setting up two-step verification.

Your Help Resources

Our ITS Help Online site is a one stop location for guides, links, and online training. Click Apps in the top menu to quickly get to an online resource such as Qualtrics or Canvas. The guides link will provide help documents for all of our supported products from A-Z or by category.

Penn Law Email Address

All staff receive a full Microsoft Exchange account for email, calendar, and contacts. Your address has been created automatically and takes the form of lawkey@law.upenn.edu.

For more information, visit the Faculty & Staff Email Accounts page.

The Penn Law Directory

The Penn Law Directory provides contact information for all faculty, staff, and students in the Law School.

You should update your information in the Law Directory using the Update My Information section.

Your Office Computer & OneDrive

All staff are provided with an office PC running Windows 10. All files should be saved to Office 365 (OneDrive for individual files and SharePoint for group/departmental files.)

Do not store files on your C drive or Desktop.
