Network Drives

Offsite access to your network drives is provided using SFTP. An SFTP client (like FileZilla) is required.

Installing FileZilla

FileZilla is our recommended SFTP software. You can download and install the FileZilla client from FileZilla's site.

Configuring FileZilla

Once you have installed FileZilla, you need to configure to connect to Penn Law's servers.

  1. From the File menu, choose Site Manager.
  2. Click on New Site in the bottom-left corner.
  3. Set the following settings:
    • Host: sftp.law.upenn.edu
    • Port: 22
    • Servertype: SFTP using SSH2
    • Logontype: Normal
    • User: Your LawKey
  4. Click Connect.

Once connected, you can access your files at the locations below.
