Penn's Online Privacy & Security Training

Penn has developed an online training that focuses many important privacy and security topics that its faculty and staff should know about.

For your own personal benefit, as well as for the benefit of Penn's valued community, we urge all faculty and staff at Penn to take this training. The training will help each of us to meet the expectations of the students, faculty, staff, alumni, patients, visitors and many others who trust in us to protect the privacy and security of their information.

Taking this training requires approximately 20-25 minutes. To enroll, please follow the directions below:

  • Go to the University's Knowledge Link site at http://knowledgelink.upenn.edu/ and login using your Penn Key and password
  • Using the 'Search the catalog' option on the Knowledge Link homepage, search for 'Information Privacy and Security at Penn'
  • The course will be displayed. Click the option to 'Add to my to-do list'
  • The course will now be listed on your  Knowledge Link homepage under your Learning Plan.
