FreeConference is a conference call service that can be used to connect multiple parties on a single phone line. Follow the instructions below to schedule and participate in a conference call.



Scheduling a Conference Call

To schedule a conference call, email the following information to at least one week before the event.

  • Date and time
  • Duration
  • Number of participants
  • Location from which you will be calling (office, cell phone, etc.).

A member of the ITS Media team will followup with all of the information about the conference call.

Participant Instructions

Please follow these instructions to enter the Adobe Connect meeting. Also, please forward these instructions to all of the meeting participants:

  1. Call the Dial-In Number.
  2. After calling the number, you will be prompted to enter an access code followed by the pound (#) sign. Please have the primary participant enter the Organizer Access Code. NOTE: All other participants should enter the Participant Access Code.
  3. At the end of the call, simply hang up. The conference call will be ended when all participants have disconnected.

IMPORTANT: If a conference runs long, FreeConference will attempt to auto-extend it for as long as there are people still present, for up to six hours. However, if after the scheduled end of the conference the room is needed by another group, the conference will be terminated after three warning announcements. It is impossible to predict in advance whether auto-extension will take place.
