How to Add Pending Events to the PLEM Site

Events can be added to the CMS as pending, which will make them appear on the Pending Events page in the Penn Law Events Management (PLEM) site.

Simply add the “Pending Event” tag to your event. Events tagged as pending will only appear on the PLEM Pending Events page and not on the main Law School calendar or community boards (view the tagging guide).

Once your event has been confirmed, just remove the “Pending Event” tag from your event and it will be posted to the calendar.

Please note, the tag has to be added exactly the same way, i.e. Pending Event, with a space between the two words, in order for the tagging to work the correctly on the calendar.

If it is an event that is confirmed but should not appear on the public calendar at all (such as an Overseers Dinner or a private party, please tag the event “Private.” Please use this tag sparingly, most events should be on the public calendar with a note, by Invitation Only, if not open to the public.
