Microsoft 365 has several different project planning tools. Some of the options are listed below.
Microsoft To Do is a cross platform app for creating, managing, and sharing Tasks and Lists. To Do is integrated with Office 365 so any task list can be easily created, edited, and shared from the office, home, or on the go.
Planner is a web-based and mobile application that lets you create project plans, assign tasks, chat about tasks, and see charts of your team’s progress. Planner can be implemented within a Teams site or as a standalone project.

Tasks app in Teams
The Tasks app in Microsoft Teams brings together your individual tasks from To Do and Outlook with your team tasks from Planner so you can more efficiently cross them off your lists. Use the unique List view to change many tasks at once, and easily find and edit them. Use the Tasks app to work on To Do and Planner tasks alongside the Teams channels, chats, and apps you’re used to.
