Crashplan App Install 

Sign in and Download

  • Open a web browser and enter this URL: https://console.us2.crashplan.com/
  • Enter your LawKey address at the prompt to login, proceed to sign in with LawKey if prompted
  • Hover over “Administration” and select “App downloads” to view the available software
  • Choose the correct version of the software for your operating system, this will download the software
  • Once the software downloads, run the installer
  • The CrashPlan client software will automatically load upon a successful installation

Client Software: Login and Setup

  • You will be asked to log into your CrashPlan account
  • Choose “Existing Account”
  • Enter your LawKey username and password in the corresponding fields.
  • In the server field enter: central.crashplan.com

  • Once signed in, you will be prompted to “Add New Device” or “Replace Existing”
    • If you are backing up for the first time choose “Add New Device”
    • If you’d like to choose files you want to transfer from a backup, continue your existing backup from where it left off, or recover all of your previous settings, select “Replace Existing”
