Great law schools of the 21st Century are a global crossroads for people and ideas from around the world. Legal issues are not confined to single jurisdictions. They have state, federal, foreign, international and transnational dimensions. As a preeminent law school, Penn Law is strengthened by global collaborations and interdisciplinary partnerships. Penn Law is known for engaging with the world beyond our walls: identifying challenges, creating alliances, solving problems, and sparking change here at Penn and around the world.
The new Penn Law Global Affairs Blog provides a unique platform for Penn Law students, alumni, visiting global faculty, fellows, researchers and speakers to discuss global law and policy debates of the day and connect on a range of issues from nations and regions in transition to innovations in global economic development, to migration and markets. The posts represent the personal views of Penn Law students, alumni and other contributors. Penn Law takes no institutional positions but will reserve the right to exclude views that are not consistent with the mission of the Law School.
