Silvana C. Burgese

Silvana Burgese is the Director of Faculty Support at Penn Law. Silvana first joined the Penn community during a high school internship. She then went on to graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1990 with a B.A. in Economics.

Later that year, she joined Penn Law as a member of the Faculty Support team and became its manager in 2001. In this role (for which she was awarded Penn’s Model Supervisor Award in 2015), Silvana works to foster a group of committed colleagues who effectively coordinate services for and offer support to Penn Law’s faculty members.
