
Robert Palumbos

Robert Palumbos is an appellate lawyer at Duane Morris LLP. He has briefed and argued over 80 appeals in federal and state courts throughout the United States. His work covers a wide range of legal areas, including RICO, corporate governance, administrative agency law, real estate, and insurance coverage.
Mr. Palumbos has been a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee since 2015 and, in 2017, the Supreme Court appointed him vice chair of the Committee. He has lectured on a variety of issues at the American Law Institute, National Business Institute, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Palumbos was named a Pennsylvania Rising Star in appellate litigation from 2011 through 2016, and a 2014 Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer.
Mr. Palumbos is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and, before entering private practice, was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (M.A., B.A.), where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
