Executive Director of Development
Laura Tepper is the Executive Director of Development, where she oversees the Law School’s fundraising efforts. Her work centers around engagement of our community of alumni and friends through philanthropic opportunities that support and celebrate the Law School. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Brooklyn Law School, Laura joined Penn Carey Law in 2009 after a career in child advocacy. Her oversight of the Annual Fund, especially during the successful Bold Ambitions campaign, included a rebranding and modernization of the Fund’s communications, which increased participation and engaged a new generation of donors. In her current role, she has led the development team through the successful Advocates for a New Era campaign, which included the closure of two of the largest gifts to an American law school. The collective work of the development staff enables Penn Carey Law to increase support for student financial aid and public service careers, attract top legal scholars, improve the physical plant, and remain flexible in an ever-changing marketplace.
