Career Planning & Professionalism

Penn Law equips you with the professional competencies and leadership abilities highly sought after by leading employers.

The Office of Career Planning & Professionalism empowers students to become the CEOs of their own careers. Our programs, services, online resources, and one-on-one counseling provide students with a competitive advantage throughout their careers.

To prepare you for today’s highly competitive legal market, the Center on Professionalism challenges students to thoughtfully examine how they will make the most of their time at Penn Law and as a professional in an evolving legal landscape.

Students hone their skills through a wide array of private and public sector internships across the country and around the world. Penn Law students have spent their summers pursuing their interests through their summer work, from the United Nations in Geneva, Lambda Legal, and Southern Center for Human Rights to the Philadelphia 76ers, Commissioner’s Office of Major League Baseball, and Twitter.
