Dallas A Grundy
Associate Dean for Business Affairs
Most recently, Grundy served for nine years as the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration at Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Education, where he was responsible for the school’s accounting, finance, human resources, administration, facilities management, and information technologies.
Grundy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Management Information Systems and Marketing, both from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
Before he joined the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers, Grundy worked in the areas of staffing and human resources management, strategy development, and leadership and team development for Lucent Technologies, Citigroup, General Motors, Corning Inc., and Merck & Co.
Along with three friends from his Rutgers Engineering program, he co-founded BCT Partners, a national consulting firm that specializes in housing and community development, economic development, workforce development, children and families, education, and health care.
In 2012, Grundy was selected as a fellow by the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education, an organization which represents Black faculty and staff in higher education and recognizes African-American achievements and accomplishments in the field.
Grundy has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including the Renaissance Economic Development Corporation. He is also a founding trustee for the Lawnside Education Foundation, a nonprofit established to secure resources and mobilize community support for the Lawnside School District in Camden County, New Jersey. Currently Grundy sits on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Public Policy Research Institute (NJPPRI).
In addition, Grundy was selected by the Partnership for New Jersey as a 2005 Leadership New Jersey Fellow, and he was featured in The Network Journal magazine as one of their “40 under Forty” achievers.
