Elise Luce Kraemer
Executive Director, Graduate Programs
Elise Luce Kraemer is the Executive Director of Graduate Programs at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she focuses on recruiting, admissions, and student services for foreign trained LLMs and also provides support for the SJD program. Elise earned her BA from the University of Chicago in 1990 and her JD from Penn Law in 1993. Her legal practice culminated with her service to the City of Philadelphia as a Deputy City Solicitor. She returned to Penn Law in 2006 and has been working with LLMs in a variety of roles ever since.
Elise also provides mindfulness programming at Penn Law, helping lawyers, law students, and staff better manage stress and improve focus. She completed the Practicum in MBSR for Professionals at Jefferson Myrna-Brind Center of Integrative Medicine in 2015 and graduated from Penn Medicine’s Center for Mindfulness teaching certificate program in 2018.
