Paul S. Kimbol, former chair of the employee benefits and executive compensation group, represents clients ranging from sole proprietorships to NYSE-traded companies on qualified and nonqualified plans and executive compensation arrangements, including many forms of stock-based compensation, as well as related tax (e.g., Code § 162(m) and § 280G) and securities issues.



Mr. Kimbol has worked extensively on the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyouts, handling matters involving single- and multi-employer plan liabilities, and the assumption or termination of executive compensation arrangements for both buyers and sellers.



Mr. Kimbol is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been listed as a leading lawyer for employee benefits since 2006 in Chambers USA, a referral guide to leading lawyers in the United States based on the opinions of their peers and clients. In its 2009 edition, Chambers noted that he is an "'intelligent lawyer'" who "is extolled for his excellent technical abilities." Mr. Kimbol has also been recognized as one of the best Pennsylvania-based employee benefits lawyers in Corporate Counsel's "Best Lawyers: Employee Benefits Law."
