Han Nguyen is a commercial litigator at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. He has defended companies such as IBM and Energy Trading Partners in shareholder derivative suits seeking to enjoin corporate mergers, including the $1.3 billion acquisition of Kenexa Corporation and the $5.3 billion acquisition of Sunoco, Inc. He also defended one of the underwriter defendants in In re: Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation, a multidistrict securities class action in the Southern District of New York, in which plaintiffs claimed that hundreds of initial public offerings and aftermarkets were manipulated by alleged industry-wide practices. In addition, Mr. Nguyen currently serves as counsel for real estate developers, builders, product manufacturers and lenders and borrowers in loan disputes.
