Lecturer in Law
Len Rieser, currently at the Gittis Center for Clinical Legal Studies, is the former Executive Director of the Education Law Center-PA, a public-interest firm. His experience is in litigation and in legislative and policy advocacy aimed at protecting the rights of children in the educational, mental health/mental retardation, child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Before coming to the Education Law Center, he served as a trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department of Justice. He is especially interested in helping students think about public-interest work, whether pro bono or as a career.
