Eleanor Barrett

Eleanor Barrett L'05 is the Associate Dean for Legal Practice Skills at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  In that capacity, she administers and teaches the first-year Legal Practice Skills course; works to design and implement new skills, writing, and communications courses and programs across the Law School; and oversees the Law School’s moot court program.
 
Before returning to Penn Law School, Barrett served for three years as a law clerk to the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Continue reading…

Barrett graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in Public and International Affairs and received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  As a student at Penn Law School, Barrett was named Best Oralist in the Edwin R. Keedy moot court competition and served as a Legal Writing Instructor, teaching legal research and writing to first-year students. [Hide]
