Lecturer in Law
Elise Bruhl is a Deputy City Solicitor in the Appeals and Legislation Unit of the City of Philadelphia Law Department. She joined the Law Department in January of 2001.
Prior to her employment at the Law Department, she taught at the University of Pennsylvania and King’s College, London, and clerked for the Hon. Marjorie O. Rendell of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Hon. Marvin Katz of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She received a B.A. from Harvard College, an M.A. from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
