Aaron Polak

Lecturer in Law

Aaron Polak practices corporate and business law and has divided his time between law firms and as in-house counsel for large and small companies.  His transactional practice focuses on representing businesses and investors in private equity, M&A and general commercial matters primarily in the life sciences, software and entertainment industries.



Prior to opening his own firm in 2008, Aaron served as the general counsel and a member of senior management of a group of affiliated medical device companies with operations in five countries.  He also worked on transactional matters at the general counsel’s office of Ernst & Young and spent several years in the corporate department of Arnold & Porter’s New York office.



Aaron also serves as an adjunct professor at New York Law School, where he began teaching in 2003.   
Mr. Polak graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1993 and cum laude from Boston University in 1987.
