Charles Dickens biting social commentary on the justice system of 19th century England. The infamous Jarndyce case has been dragging through the courts for years, ruining lives and leaving entire families devastated. John Jarndyce, a good-natured country gentleman, refuses to let it control his life, but one of his wards is not so fortunate.
