Focusing on the release of Ice-Ts song "cop Killer" this seminar features a spiritied discussion on the balance between artistic expression, the rights of free speech and social responsibility. Professor Charles Ogletree of Harvard Law School serves as moderator to a diverse panel which examines the complex issues associated with the controversy, including the impact that cutting edge atrists have on young people, the police and other groups. In addition it explores how the views of the disenfranchised are expressed through entertainment.
