Summary:

Liberated from a concentration camp in 1945, barely able to walk, Simon Wiesenthal (Ben Kingsley) is able to remember the names of his tormentors, and produce drawings which prove useful to the American War Crimes Unit. They enlist his aid in interviewing victims and documenting evidence, but when the Unit is shut down, Wiesenthal realizes he cannot allow the past be forgotten assimply as closing a file. He moves to Vienna and continues to hunt down the killers, often concealed by new identities, spearheading the arrest of Adolf Eichmann, and the trial of Franz Murer, the infamous "Butcher of Vilna".
