The Office of Career Strategy hosts a variety of formal recruiting programs throughout the year to allow employers to conveniently connect with our talented students.

2024 Recruiting Programs

 

Penn Early Program - PEP

We are pleased to announce Penn Carey Law will host a 2024 Penn Early Program. Within the timeline set out below, PEP firms will receive early access to applications from our talented Penn Carey Law students, who will apply to and interview with up to eight participating firms in advance of OCI. Students will have the option to extend one PEP offer through OCI.

Please note: An employer must participate in OCI in order to participate in PEP.

Monday, June 10 – Applications released to firms at 10 am ET

Monday, June 24 – Deadline for firm interview selections by 5 pm ET

Wednesday, July 10 – Deadline for firm offer decisions by 5 pm ET

Monday, July 22 – Deadline for students to respond to offers by 5 pm ET

Thursday, August 8 – Deadline for students to respond to one extended PEP offer by 5 pm ET

Virtual On-Campus Interview Program (OCI) - Private Sector

Penn Carey Law’s 2024 OCI program will be conducted virtually via Flo Recruit on:

Tuesday, July 23 – Thursday, July 25.

Important OCI Dates

Employer Registration: March 8 — April 1 (priority inclusion in participating employers list)

OCI Dates Released to Employers: Week of April 8

OCI Student Bidding: July 1 — July 16

OCI Schedules & Resumes Released: July 18

Finalized Schedules & Flo Recruit Links: One business day before interview date

Register by Monday, April 1 for inclusion in the initial OCI employer list provided to students and to receive your assigned OCI date the week of April 8.

 

2024 Summer OCI Fees

Invoices will be sent by email through CyberSource and may be paid by check or credit card. All invoicing questions should be directed to Atiya Baldwin at albaldwin@law.upenn.edu.

Registration Fee: $150 non-refundable

  • Private Employer < 50 Attorneys : $500 flat rate
  • Private Employer 51+ Attorneys: $750 for First Schedule
    • Additional Schedules: $600
    • Half-Day Schedule: $400

Cancellation Policy: Schedules cancelled by June 30 will receive a full refund other than the $150 registration fee. Schedules cancelled after June 30 will be charged the full fee. If fewer than 6 students register for a schedule and you choose to cancel your visit, fees are reimbursable other than the $150 registration fee.

 

Summer 2024 Resume Collection Program

If your organization is unable to participate in our virtual OCI program, we encourage you to register for a resume collection instead. Students will submit materials to employers of their choosing, and we will release all applications in an application packet(s) to employers on July 29, 2024. More details will be available in the spring.

 

Job Postings

Employers not participating in our formal recruiting programs or employers looking to advertise their formal diversity programs may submit a job posting to our online Symplicity job bank. There is no cost associated with posting a job in the job bank.
