Biddle on the Move

The reclassification of foreign materials on Biddle's 4th floor has led to an overcrowding of materials on the 3rd floor! Because of this, materials on Biddle’s 3rd and 4th floors are being shifted.  Most of the new shelving locations are not far away from the original locations, but in some cases the materials will have new call numbers.

The books being shifted include all books with call numbers KF on the 4th floor.  State materials on the 3rd floor are being shifted up to the 4th floor. Books with the call numbers KG thru P are being spread out on the 3rd floor to make room for future additional books.

As the move continues, if you have problems locating your title you can receive help obtaining materials by stopping at the Circulation Desk and filling out a search slip.  The library staff is always available to help students, staff and faculty members find any resources that may have shifted to the new area.

During the move increased noise is possible. Library staff will be doing their best to keep disruptions to a minimum and will only work for an hour at a time.  New signs will be placed on the shelving end panels to indicate the location of various resources and their associated call numbers.

Thanks for your understanding and patience!
