A new and improved lawn
The construction team is uprooting the grass in the courtyard. We will certainly miss that little taste of spring, but our nostalgia is tempered by the expectation of a “revised”, permanent lawn. Some of the bumps and dips in the lawn will be smoothed over, leaving us with what will be- much to the Building Committee’s dismay- an ideal Frisbee ground.
Though our lawn is gone for now, it will soon return and will look better than ever. Come Spring, I expect the lawn to be teeming with Frisbees flyin, and students reclining and pouring over their favorite book: Levmore’s Foundations of Tort Law.
