Greetings from The Goat
Fall is in full swing my friends! Along with the change of the leaves, we also welcome our new 1L’s and our Interim Dean and Presidential Professor Wendell Pritchett. I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Dean Pritchett, who joins us from most recently serving as Chancellor of Rutgers-Camden from 2009-14, and returns to Penn Law after previously serving as a professor here. He has written two books, holds a Ph.D. from Penn, and has held numerous leadership positions in nonprofit and government service. We go way back already, but with his proven excellence in scholarship and education, and my mastery of wisdom and justice, he and I are right back to being the best of friends.
I am also happy to announce that this year we will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Toll Public Interest Center. If you haven’t had a chance to catch up on what’s new at TPIC, head over to the TPIC 25th Anniversary web site to see all of the ways in which the center promotes public service at Penn Law. TPIC’s impact over the past 25 years will be honored with lectures, conferences, and other educational and celebratory events throughout the year. I’m thrilled to celebrate these successes and hope you will come join me for a lecture or two!
Well folks, I have told you about what’s going on in our halls, but you really need to come visit to experience the happenings yourself. Keep in touch with all that is Penn Law on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
I can’t wait to see you soon!
