Greetings from The Goat
Greetings, my friends!
It’s high time for an update from your friendly neighborhood Goat. I have some HUGE news to share with you: I’ve made a new friend. Shocking, I know, given my charming personality and dashing good looks. But enough about me. I’m very excited to turn the spotlight on my newest pal, Dean of Students Monica Monroe! Monica joined us in February from her alma mater, George Washington University Law School, where she served as Associate Dean of Students and a Lecturer in Law. With her years of experience and her dedication to enhancing student life, Monica is an outstanding addition to Penn Law. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome to our community!
In other news, I’ve had the pleasure of hosting several soirees in the Haaga Lounge as of late. Most recently, I had a marvelous time with friends old and new at two classic Penn Law events, the Equal Justice Foundation Auction and the Toll Public Interest Center Student & Alumni Dinner. Now I’m looking forward to a brand-new tradition in the making: the inaugural Penn Law Women’s Summit! From March 22 to 24, the Kilgore Society will host numerous panels and events featuring some truly amazing alumnae. You won’t want to miss it, trust me—after all, I am the wisest Goat you know.
Before we know it, it’ll be time for the biggest bash of them all: Reunion! Mark your calendars for May 13–14, and keep an eye on our Reunion website for more info over the coming weeks. I hope you can make it! And don’t forget to say hello to your favorite Goat while you’re here.
