Penn Law@Work is our workplace-based giving program. It is a two-month fundraising challenge for law firms that employ Penn Law alumni.
Volunteers from each firm encourage their colleagues to make a gift to the Law School during the challenge period, and firms that reach high participation levels receive rewards from the law school that will aid in their recruitment, networking, and marketing efforts. These rewards include:
- An announcement, distributed to all students, alumni, staff, and faculty, which will contain the winning firms’ names and recruiting contact info.
- An announcement in the Annual Report for Penn Law.
- Recognition in the Annual Report for Penn Law.
How to Join PennLaw@Work
Wondering if your firm has enough alumni to join Penn Law@Work? All you need is two Penn Law alumni to participate in the challenge! Firms will be divided up into three groups, based on number of alumni, but all firms that reach 100% participation will be recognized.
To enroll your firm in the program, please contact Anne Koellhoffer, Assistant Director of The Fund for Penn Law, at 215.746.0341 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where does the money go?
The primary goal is to solicit gifts for The Fund for Penn Law, which supports scholarship, faculty research, student life, public interest, clinical programs, Biddle Law Library, the Center on Professionalism, and more. However, gifts to any fund will count towards participation totals for Penn Law@Work.
