The Senior Partners Society — celebrate over 50 years of your association with Penn Law!
Established in 2008, the Senior Partners Society is a group of individuals who have been alumni of Penn Law School for more than 50 years. These alumni share a common trait with students from other eras: excellence. The Society honors the lives and career achievements of these graduates and provides an important connection with the current students, faculty, and curriculum of the Law School.
Where can you gather in one place over 3,500 years of diverse experience and service at the bar? In May 2012, 75 Penn Law alumni, each with more than 50 years of legal experience, attended the Senior Partners Luncheon, resulting in over 3,500 cumulative years!
Senior Partners gather for an annual luncheon with the Dean during Reunion Weekend and meet during the year for social and educational programs. Past social events include a private tour of the new National Museum of American Jewish History.
In a continuous effort to improve the Senior Partners Society, the Law School is developing plans to provide a “Senior Forum” for the exchange of ideas and experiences involving a wide range of issues facing the legal profession, including:
- What have you learned about the profession and its challenges during your time in the legal field?
- How has the law (and the practice of law) evolved since law school?
- What is the value of a career in law?
- How can you share your experience and expertise with current students and fellow alumni?
We hope that you will consider becoming involved in the Senior Partners Society and invite your comments and suggestions.
